using a company called Promosport to schedule foreign trips for their teams. Not *just* the Pitinos, mind you, but they’re on the list. Promosport is registered to the same individual who runs an outfit called “Canarias Basketball Academy, a private, amateur academy that was founded in 2007 by Rob Orellana, a former assistant coach at Cal State-Fullerton, Fairleigh Dickinson and St. Francis. ”

According to SI’s Luke Winn, 11 D1 schools took trips via Promosport since 2010. Every one of them signed at least one player from Canadias Basketball Academy.
